AW-UE30: Key Features
• 1/2.5-type 4K MOS sensor, 74.1° field of view and 20x Optical Zoom
• Built-in Auto Tracking Function
• Direct Drive System for improved responsiveness and quietness
• Image stabilizer for stable video shooting
• Excellent system flexibility to achieve smart wiring and smooth operation
The AW-UE30 4K PTZ supports both HDMI and IP which makes it an ideal option for using within existing HD or 4K workflows thanks to its simultaneous video output feature. It also features a wide-angle lens with a 74.1° field of view and a 20x optical zoom, enabling a wide area to be shot from a limited installation space, in addition to maintaining high image quality at high zoom ratios. This allows shooting in large indoor spaces.
The camera features a compact design to easily blend in with its surroundings and to operate quietly for flexible usage in any video shooting location or condition. It is easy to install and to operate to ensure the capture of stable images, so even people unfamiliar with video shooting or camera operation can use this PTZ camera. It is possible to link it to online conference software or online applications like livestreaming services, so online video streaming is easy to initiate. It also features PoE+ support for camera power, control, and video transmission over a single cable. Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) has been added to the camera to ensure smooth pan-tilt movement even in busier environments or when placed onto a robotic system for example.
The camera’s built-in auto-tracking function allows capturing a moving presenter and speaker. It follows the speaker without the need for detailed operation by the operator, allowing for realistic video shooting at any time.
The AW-UE30 is compatible with Panasonic’s entire ecosystem of solutions. This includes usage with remote camera controllers, the Media Production Suite software platform, and its optional Auto-Tracking software for presentations, lectures, or similar.
When using the free-to-download PTZ Virtual USB driver software and a LAN connection, it is possible to obtain video and audio from the UE30 in the same way you would when using an USB camera. There are two aspects when it comes to using UE30 as a USB camera. 1. With UVC output, it can be used in the same way as conventional USB camera. 2. By utilizing the PTZ Virtual USB Driver, USB video and audio can be handled via LAN, which makes delivering video and audio longer than conventional USB cables. Please refer to the global web page.
There is a wide variety of IP transmission protocols available. Out of the box, Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) is supported to maintain stability while transmitting high-quality video, even in unstable network environments. SRT allows video distribution over public internet in a secure and reliable way, as it offers encryption and as lost packets are automatically detected and resent.
RTMP/RTMPS* provides direct streaming to live broadcasting services such as YouTube Live and Facebook Live from the camera directly. (RTMP: Real-Time Messaging Protocol, RTMPS: Real-Time Messaging Protocol Secure.)
