SIX AMAZING WAYS TO SPEND EID AL FITR IN DUBAI WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY 

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 20 April 2023: As Eid Al Fitr in Dubai ushers in a time of festivity, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has assembled a line-up of six unmissable ways for the whole family to join in the celebrations. So, make this Eid Al Fitr in Dubai a time to remember, by adding these family-friendly activities to the calendar.  

1. Visit the etisalat by e& beach canteen 

The long awaited etisalat by e& beach canteen makes a welcome return as part of this year’s Dubai Food Festival. Head down to Jumeirah Beach behind Sunset Mall for scrumptious gastronomy options, activities for the kids, and live entertainment. Running from 21 April through to 7 May, opening hours are from 4PM to 11PM from Monday to Thursday, 4PM to 12AM on Fridays, 2PM to 12AM on Saturdays and 2PM to 11PM on Sundays. Tickets can only be purchased at the door, and it’s free of charge for kids aged under 12 and seniors over 60. 

2.  Check out Mr Kind at Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall 

Treat your little ones to a brilliant educational music act from 20-23 April at China Court at Ibn Battuta Mall and Circle Mall. Follow the heart-shaped mascot Mr. Kind and his friend Lele as they embark on a journey of discovery. With five original songs and an intriguing storyline, this production is the perfect family show, teaching children values like love, kindness and sharing. The tale also includes characters like Planet Earth and Steve the Garbage Bin, who share tips on how each of us can do our part in taking care of the environment. Entry is free for everyone. 

3. Take a trip to Global Village  

Take the family on a trip around the world, without leaving Dubai. Visit Eid Wonders at Global Village for a magical experience for the whole family, with over 250 dining options and more than 3,500 shopping outlets. With a variety of musical and dance performances, the Eid Market, Majlis of the World and more, there’s plenty for all to see and do. Visit until 29 April from 4PM to 12AM Sunday to Wednesday, and 4PM to 1AM from Thursday through Saturday. Young visitors that are out and about over Eid can also receive an Eidiya – a traditional Eid gift. 

4. Enjoy a full musical concert 

Star Emirati artist Eida Al Menhali is set to amaze the audience in a special Eid Al Fitr in Dubai concert at Festival Bay in Dubai Festival City Mall at 7PM to 12AM on 23 April. The whole family can enjoy this amazing performance, with tickets starting at AED 299 upwards. A 1.5 hour set by a DJ will run for some exciting pre-concert entertainment to set the stage for the big performance. 

5. Join the Celebrations at Mercato Mall  

Mercato Mall gives everyone the chance to ‘Join the Celebration and Win Big this Eid’ with an action-packed line-up of exciting performances and activities including Samba Sensations: The Rio Show, The Rolling Rio Show, Juggling Around Rio, Fiesta Sing Along, Story Time by Virgin Megastore, a bird design workshop, face painting, a roaming Rio carnival, as well as tons of other stories and games. From 4PM to 10PM daily from 21 to 23 April.  

6. Family fun at Nakheel Mall  

Enjoy a packed line-up of fun activities and events at Nakheel Mall, including musical performances from 21 to 23 April, a special performance by award-winning, fun workshops for kids at Depachika Food Hall until 23 April, and a beautiful collection of art sculptures by artist Azza Al Qubaisi until 24 April.
