The unique collaboration aims to introduce more people to take on sport with various community outreach campaigns
[February 21, 2023 – Dubai, UAE] – Global running brand ASICS is partnering with Dubai-based community sports and fitness initiative At The Park, in a joint effort to promote wellness, fitness, sport and running for everyone in the community. As part of the ASICS Sound Mind Sound Body mandate, the Japanese sportsweat brand will support At the Park in all its community programs that include free-to-join group exercise classes in locations across Dubai, group activities such as race preparation and classes in sports including yoga, padel, zumba and running.
At The Park is a group aimed at providing individuals with the experience and support of community classes at zero cost. With a Whatsapp group and social pages, the grassroots-style initiative is on a mission to offer sports for all. Members are supported to train and run marathons, with some having recently run the Dubai Marathon.
Ana-Elisa Seixas, Marketing Manager at ASICS Arabia said: “We are dedicated to spreading the ASICS Sound Mind Sound Body philosophy to as many people as possible. As a movement for wellbeing, our partnership with At The Park means we can reach more people and help them live a better lifestyle.”
Frederico Martins, Founder of At The Park said: “We are incredibly excited and honoured to partner with ASICS and their community of FrontRunner members. This partnership means we can scale up everything we do, and help our members, existing and future, embrace movement and enhance their fitness performance”.
This year ASICS has teamed up with more than ten new running clubs, race organisations and sports teams so far, to support and encourage communities to take on movement for better health. This comes alongside the regional expansion of its ASICS FrontRunner ambassador programme throughout the Middle East, which seeks to amplify the brand’s core philosophy of Sound Mind, Sound Body to runners and fitness communities throughout the region.
