Love Hurts stars Oscar® winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once, Loki) in his first major leading man role as Marvin Gable, a seemingly mild-mannered realtor with a dark past that he can’t outrun. Marvin thought he could leave his criminal history behind, but when a crimson envelope arrives from Rose (Oscar® winner Ariana DeBose; West Side Story, Argylle), a former partner-in-crime he left for dead, everything changes. Now, Marvin is thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen, deadly double-crosses, and open houses turned into violent warzones.
The story takes us into Marvin’s past where, despite his best efforts, he can’t escape the family and choices that haunt him. His brother, Knuckles (Daniel Wu; Tomb Raider, Warcraft), a volatile crime lord, will stop at nothing to track him down. As Marvin’s world unravels, he must confront his past and fight to survive.
