Rotana Promotes Scott Valentine to Corporate Vice President – Food & Beverage

Abu Dhabi, UAE – September 2024: Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye (MENAT), announces the promotion of Scott Valentine to the role of Corporate Vice President – Food & Beverage. 

As Corporate Vice President – Food & Beverage, Valentine will be at the helm of Rotana’s food and beverage strategy, driving the execution of innovative culinary initiatives while ensuring top-notch quality and service. Reporting directly to Eddy Tannous, Chief Operating Officer, he will also oversee the development and implementation of new restaurant concepts and F&B outlets, further enhancing Rotana’s reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry.

Valentine first joined Rotana in August 2019, as Corporate Director of Culinary and quickly became an integral part of the company’s F&B strategy. His leadership and vision led to significant achievements in culinary concept development and quality enhancement, culminating in his promotion to Corporate Director of F&B and Culinary in early 2024. 

Before his tenure at Rotana, Valentine built a distinguished career in the hospitality industry, working with prominent hotel brands and independent culinary institutions worldwide. His extensive experience includes collaborations with 11 Michelin-starred chefs, the opening of four restaurants in Amsterdam, and the founding of the Chefs Association in Tanzania. Valentine holds a Food and Beverage Management Certificate from Cornell University and has received numerous accolades throughout his 25-year career, including a Michelin Recommendation London and Star Amsterdam and a Fodor’s award.
