Commencing on 23 July and running through to 3 August 2024, the festival is a showcase for cultivators of dates and acts as the premier showcase for numerous varieties that are locally produced. To honor this nutritious and versatile superfood, a range of delicious and inventive items have been added to menus throughout the hotel, that will bring sweet appeal to guests.
Against the elegant backdrop of The Lobby Lounge, date cookies will make their debut, served with coffee. Standing in for the chocolate cookie, these treats are delightfully sweetened and typically symbolize the warm hospitality that is so innate to Qatari daily life.
The sumptuous assortment of breakfast buffet items at the Lagoon will be fortified with croissants filled with dates, while the range of detox juices and smoothies will get a nutritious injection of this beneficial fruit.
