Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 07 November 2022: The first edition of PopConME & GameExpo is promising to be the ultimate festival celebrating pop culture. Set to take place from the 10th to the 13th of November at the Dubai Exhibition Center (DEC), Expo City Dubai. PopConME & GameExpo has confirmed a line-up of some of the biggest names in film, TV and comic books.
Headlining the first edition of PopConME & GameExpo will be Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth best known for playing Thor and the HBO epic fantasy series Game of Thrones English actor, Kit Harington.
On opening day 10th November comic book enthusiasts will be able to ask questions directly to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Alex Livinalli and Silent Bob Reboot actor Ming Chen at the ‘From Comics to Screen’ panel. PopConME & GameExpo will be hosting workshops, movie screenings, live performances, competitions and so much more.
Book your tickets for the 11th of November for a chance to meet and greet Thor alongside Turkish heartthrob Cengiz Coskun at ‘Meet the Heroes’ section at the PopConME & GameExpo. Join us at the ‘stranger Things’ Panel to meet Alec Utgoff, British-Ukrainian actor known for playing fan-favorite Alexei, and Cara Buono, known for her role as Mrs. Wheeler on the Netflix Original Series Stranger Things. Fans will be able to meet their favourite heroes and get posters and merchandise signed by the celebrities at the convention.
Fans of the HBO epic fantasy series Game Of Thrones will be able to Journey to the ‘Westeros Panel’ being held on the 12th, for a panel hosting Kit Harington Milly Alcock and Julian Glover, giving fans an opportunity to ask questions directly from these leading talents. Panel guests will Travel to a ‘Galaxy Far Far Away!!!’ on the 12th of November with Giancarlo Esposito and Samantha Alleyne at the session taking place at PopConME & GameExpo.
On the 13th of November the stage will be set for the ‘Action Packed Panel’ with a stellar lineup of characters that includes Cengiz Coskun best known for his role as Turgul Alp in the TV show Diriliş: Ertuğrul, joined by legendary actor, screenwriter and martial artist Steven Segal; Mike Barnes, from The Karate Kid Part III and Cobra Kai, Sean Kanan. First female Stormtrooper in Star Wars, Samantha Alleyne, Riverdales Hal Cooper, Lochlyn Munro and Chinese martial arts actress and rising movie star, Miya Muqi.
Also confirmed to attend the convention on the 13th of November are stars of the CW’s Arrowverse TV Series Franchise, Canadian actor Stephen Amell, best known for his role as Oliver Queen, Osric Chau known for playing Ryan Choi and Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance/Black Canary.
Other celebrities attending the festival are the voice of the Netflix series Carmen Sandiego Abby Trott, Stanger Things actors Alec Utgoff and Cara Buono, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Alex Livinalli.
